Happy 44th birthday Singapore! Not to mistaken me for a patriot, but i still have to call singapore my home even though it pretty much sucks at times. What i love most about singapore? My friends, family, singlish, and many other things that make us Uniquely Singapore.
Watched the parade live on TV. To my surprise, this year's parade was a lot better than the last, so were the fireworks. To be honest i wasnt very optimistic about the NDP this year, considering the last one was terrible + horrible + vegetable. (Which reminds me, SOME people dont have a sense of humour like this) But they did a great job taking the entire event into a whole new direction this year. It was no doubt catered more to the youth rather, so older generations might not find it interesting. But hey after years of the same boring shit i think this is refreshing for a change.
Recently i have been thinking of playing with toy guns again. Yeah childish you might say, but in the recent years local retailers have been bringing in toy firearms that are of 1:1 scale (That means they are life sized) with detail and customisable accessories. Pretty cool i might add. Its sad none of these toys existed when i was a kid.
