First weekend of work has come and gone. It was ok, still need sometime to get used to rushing from one place to another. Imagine having to travel from orchard to boon lay within 50 minutes. Its impossible by MRT, taking into consideration the walking and waiting of trains. Not to mention the quickest way already requires you to change one train at city hall/raffle's place. Ended up taking a cab with darrel, there goes 8 bucks from our pay check... The performance at kiddy palace and OG was sweet, lots of kids and parents and its actually quite fun.

Its only week 2 of the new term and already did they screw up the timetable. I know i briefly mentioned this before. Our new time table allows us to leave at 2.30pm at earliest in the entire week, the latest being 7pm which is on tuesday. The rest mostly ends at about 5pm - 6pm. Continue doing this for the rest of the term, and i can guarantee the time table will begin to take its toll on some of us, especially those living in the east. More people will turn up late, our attention span shortens, some might skip lessons. To make matters worse the minimum attendence requirement has increased from 75% to 90% per term. That means you're not allowed to miss more than 2 lessons per subject, get anything lower than 90% and you can forget about sitting for the exam. MCs are only valid if you are absent for 3 or more days. That means if you're really sick, but can only get a 1 or 2 day MC, your attendence will still be recorded as absent. So if im really sick and cannot go to school is it my fault that i have to forgive my 90% attendence for the sake of my health? Which is no doubt the most important thing to all? How cruel of them...

Michael Jackson's songs are a lot nicer than i thought they were. Was never really a fan of his, but after watching some of his live performances and listening to more of his music, i can see why his death was such a great loss to the world. Oh well, its a pity i didnt like him before he passsed...
