Exams over! Games galore!

Exams are officially over! Now time for a long 2 week break from the devil's playground, also known as school. Ok maybe 2 weeks isnt THAT long now that i think about it...

I just completed Prototype, you know that cool new sandbox-style game where you can jump around buildings using parkour moves and alien super powers. Reminds me a lot of spiderman 2/3 only this time you dont play as a "hero". Its gruesome and a little disturbing at times, hence the mature rating on the game's box art. Despite the crappy graphics, so-so voice acting and rather ordinary plot, overall its still a great game. What i find stupid was i somehow started the game on easy difficulty by accident. And whats stupider is that you cannot change it, even after you complete the game.

I just got my hands on the new ghostbusters video game several hours ago. Dont ask how i got it so quickly, anyway knowing me you guys can pretty much guess. =) Ive never been a fan of ghostbusters, but the theme song is cool. The game is great and i like how destructable the world objects are. Heck even a sofa can be broken into different pieces! Another cool thing is they got the original cast from the movies to voice their corresponding character in the game, +1 for the fans.

Coming in Q1 2010, the long await sequel to Aliens vs. Predator 2 will be released! I hope its not a typical crap of a console port to the PC, at least thats what most console ports are these days. =\ I wonder why the developers call it Aliens vs. Predator when it should be called Aliens vs. Predator 3. I mean come on, its the 3rd AVP game in line, why should it not have the number 3 at the back? So are future generations going to mistake AVP (AVP3) for AVP (AVP1)? Thats just stupid! Well at least we have a trilogy now... Ive been a fan of the franchise ever since i played AVP2 back in like primary 5/6? Its about time the franchise went next-gen. =)

A cool teaser trailer was shown at E3 2009. Its not much but looks promising and its more on the predator side of the game, hopefully more media comes soon.
