Blue Glitter Speeder

I just hooted this from spinworkx today.

The sidecaps are glitter too, this is the only other speeder i own that has this kind of sidecap.


Remember that post about the spingear exclusive glitter speeders? Taka brought them in when he came for SYYC, spinworkx sold them at 80 bucks each ($90 for the gold rimmed ones) which is $10 more than that of a normal speeder. I was deciding whether or not to buy it at SYYC, then thought i shouldnt because i wanted to save money to upgrade my PC. $80 might sound like daylight robbery, but these are limited editions and chances are they will never be made again, at least not for a long long time. On the contrary, it looks cool. =)

Here comes the pics along with my standard presentation procedure. I have to mention, i just spent like half an hour or so polishing and cleaning up all seven speeders. Having so many yoyos isnt always a good thing, maintainence is a pain in the ass especially when it gets messy. I had to polish the rims once more because i have not done so in months.

Profile view. The cobalt-blue body is translucent with lots of silvery glitter in it. Notice the ball bearing isnt the usual konkave...


...because after wasting $80 on the yoyo, i just didnt feel like spending another $25 on a konkave bearing. Also because i want to give the 10-ball bearing (The one pictured) a chance to prove itself. Here are the guts of the yoyo, i decided to use flowable silicone instead of my usual red gasket maker.


I was actually going to post a picture of all my yoyos on my 3rd year of yoyoing. But im too lazy, so heres the best i can do. My entire, full, complete collection of speeders. The oldest one (Yellow) being 3 years old and in my opinion, plays the best among the seven for obvious reasons.


Thats a few hundred dollars worth of yoyos and parts there. The speeder has served me well throughout my 3 years, and they shall continue to do so for as long as i keep throwing.
